Every day, across India, cows are beaten, abandoned, and left to die on the roadside — starved, injured, and forgotten.

But at Gowardhan Gaushala, in Rajsamand, Rajasthan, something different happens. Here, 2,500 rescued cows have found safety, food, and care. This isn't just a shelter — it's a promise. A promise that every cow who comes to us will be protected, no matter the cost.

Right now, that promise is being tested. Over 100 of our cows are injured and critically ill — some with fractures, some with deep wounds from accidents and abuse. They need medicine, surgery, and round-the-clock care. And they need it now.

Our veterinary team works tirelessly, but medicine and equipment cost money — money we are running short of. Every day we delay treatment is a day a cow's condition worsens.
